Romans 8:24 & 25

24For in hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what is seen? 25But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.

Erosion - it does not happen quickly, no matter how hard the waves pound the rocks on Point Mugu.  However, we do know that erosion takes place even if we are too impatient for it to happen.

The coming Reign of God - it does not happen quickly, not matter how hard we work, pray, love, and serve to transform the hearts of those who are hardened against God.   However, we do have a secret way of letting the world know today that God’s reign will eventually come - patience!

When we as believers exhibit patience in the midst of life’s challenges - we give a quiet but powerful testimony to those who heart’s have hardened.  Where have you been patient recently?  What testimony have you given?

To put it simply, when we believer’s exemplify patience in our lives to give a powerful testimony to the hope we have in God.

Peace,

Doctor “J”
