The Biggest Full Moon of the Year

The Perigee Moon is bigger and brighter then what we normally see and (for reasons that we do not fully understand) when the Moon is closer to the horizon it appears ever larger!
Forty Years ago I stared at the television and watched humans walk on the moon. Then I would go out at night look at all interesting lunar geological features that my little telescope could reveal to me. I loved it!
We haven’t been back to the Moon in a very long time, but the Perigee Moon was calling to us that night to come back for visit.
I know, I know, we all got “bread and butter” issues to deal with and moon gazing doesn’t seem so relevant… or is it?
What are you living for? Who are you living for? What inspires you?
I firmly believe that God fills out our lives with transcendental moments that lift us up out the ordinary and reminds us how very special we are, can be, or will be once we learn to live in faith.
So why not “shoot for the moon” this Sunday and join us this Sunday as we tackle the larger issues of life!
Peace,
Pastor John
