As the deer….

On my morning hike in the Verdugo Hills I spotted a deer for the first time! It reminds me of the first two verses of Psalm 42 “As the deer longs for flowing streams, so my soul longs for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, the living God.”Whenever I have gone one hikes and seen a deer, I have always taken it as a sign of God’s favor and goodwill towards me.
