Monday Movie Ministry is presenting the Oscar Winning Film “Crazy Heart”   (Jeff Bridges won Best Actor and the film also won for best original score) this Monday (April 26th) at 6pm  in the Community Room.  The film will be shown on a 100 inch screen with surround sound.  Wait till you hear the music in this film – it is wonderful.  Half way through the film we will take an intermission and enjoy the world’s best pizza.  Afterwards we will have a brief discussion of the film’s spirituality and how it relates to the Bible and our everyday life!  This is a free event and everyone is welcome!  For more information you can call Pastor John at 818 636 8098.

The above photo was taken at our last combined worship service in Glendora.   All three churches will be worshiping together this Sunday at 11:00 AM here at the Glendale Church of the Brethren.   There will be lots of special music, a children’s story, a wonderful message, and light snacks will be will be served afterward!  Everyone is welcome!
