Helping our Neighbors
Once a quarter our church hosts a monthly program to provide a noon meal for those in need.
Project Achieve
On the first Thursday of each month we provide an evening meal for the homeless who are making a positive transition towards obtaining a place to live.
Monday Movie Ministry: 6pm
Every Monday evening we view a popular
movie, enjoy pizza, and seek out the Biblical themes. We purposely choose “secular” movies and find a wonderful synergy between these movies and the Gospel.
Tuesday Brown Bag Bible Study: 12 Noon
This is a time of fellowship and serious Bible study. We start with an informal time of fellowship and enjoying our food from 12 noon to 1pm Then at noon we officially begin the Bible study. We make use of the most recent serious Biblical scholarship to challenge us to make the Gospel relevant for today.
Wednesday Evening Prayer Service
This service begins at 6:30pm. We start out in a room illuminated in Candle Light with Guided Christian Meditation. We close with a time of intercessory prayer when we pray for each other.
Sunday School: 9:30am
We deal with a variety of topics and link it directly to the Bible.
Worship: 10:45am
Pastor John teaches the Bible in a very dynamic progressive way. He makes the Gospel come alive through dynamic presentations which keeps people engaged without having to resort to “dumbing down” the Gospel.
